TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - It was somber sight along Interstate 10 as several Tucson Police officers lead a procession for one of their own.

41 year-old Isaac Rosario was killed in a car crash on Saturday in Glendale, Arizona. A two year veteran of the Tucson Police Department, Rosario was in Glendale with his daughter when, according to police, an SUV veered off the road into oncoming traffic colliding with Rosario's vehicle.

Firefighters rushed to the scene and began treating Rosario but he died from his injuries. Rosario's daughter was also in the vehicle. She continues to recover.  Another person involved in the crash was also killed.

Several TPD motorcycles lead the procession from Phoenix to Tucson along Interstate 10. Several people stopped on the Twin Peaks overpass in Marana to watch and pay their respects.

Before Rosario became an officer for Tucson Police, he worked for the Yuma County Sheriff's Department, the Department of Homeland Security, a federal police officer at MCAS-Yuma. He also served in the United States Marine Corps.

Rosario leaves behind two daughters.
