TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - And so it begins.

The 2015 Arizona high school football season kicks off this weekend.

There will be three games on Thursday night and 52 on Friday in what's known as Week 0.

Two of the three games on Thursday night will be in Southern Arizona and are a part of the Coaches for Charity Kickoff Classic.

Flowing Wells, coming off a 7-3 season in which they were one of four teams to win seven games and not qualify for the Division III playoffs, moves down to Division IV and will host Palo Verde.

The Caballeros return star running back Dionte Flores who has rushed for 2,944 yards in his three-year varsity career with 44 touchdowns.

The Titans were 1-9 in 2014, their first under new head coach Laurence Ruhf, who came over from Cholla High School.

Sahuaro travels to Sahuarita in the other Southern Arizona game.

The Cougars started last season with nine straight wins but fell to Cienega 49-17 in the Division II Section II title game and then were bounced in the first round of the playoffs by Paradise Valley.

The Mustangs (12-1) made it all the way to the Division IV state semifinals where they lost to eventual state champion River Valley 36-33.
