Jalapeno Coleslaw Burger-Tilted Kilt

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Chef Brandon Blue from Tilted Kilt makes a Jalapeno Coleslaw Burger in this week's What's For Lunch.

Ingredients:                        

  • Buttery Bun  (1 each)    
  • Liquid Butter 1 fl. ounce   
  • Green Leaf Lettuce  1 leaf
  • Sliced Red Onions  3 rings            
  • Hamburger Patty 1 each
  • Pepper-Jack Cheese 1 slice each
  • Jalapeno Coleslaw 2 ounces 
  • French Fries 5 ounces
  • TK Dust 1 tsp

Procedure
Season with TK dust and put patty on flat grill to sear.
Flip patty after 2 minutes and sear the other side for 2 minutes. (for rare or medium rare finish cooking on flat grill)
Add liquid butter to bun and place on the flat grill to toast.
Build in the following order

  1. Toasted bottom heel bun.
  2. Green leaf lettuce.
  3. Sliced red onions.
  4. Grilled burger with melted pepper jack cheese.
  5. Jalapeno Coleslaw.
  6. Toasted top bun.

Serve with a side.
