TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Drivers should look out for a railroad closure on the south side, set to begin on Tuesday.
The Union Pacific Railroad will shut down the railroad crossing along Contractor's Way, between Ajo Way and Irvington Road for a little over 24 hours.
This will start at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, August 25 and continue through about 12 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26. Drivers should avoid the area while this work takes place.
This closure is necessary for repairs Union Pacific plans to perform in the area, according to a press release.
