Kristin Haubrich joined the Tucson News Now team in October 2015.
Before moving to Tucson, Kristin was a reporter at KKTV in Colorado Springs, CO. During her years on the Front Range, Kristin was honored to receive the 2013 Colorado Broadcasters Association award “Best Specialty Reporter during Breaking News.” Kristin was also notably involved in KKTV’s 130 hours of continuous coverage during the devastating Waldo Canyon Fire in 2012.
Kristin grew up in Minnesota working with her parents and siblings in their family-owned Dairy Queen. She graduated from the College of Saint Benedict where she was a collegiate athlete competing in cross country and track. Her initial job in television was as an anchor/reporter for a northern Minnesota TV station. One year later, Kristin was working as a reporter at KREX-TV in Grand Junction, CO.
Kristin is thrilled now to be reporting in the warm climate and vibrant city of Tucson. In her free time, she enjoys running marathons, volunteering, spending time with family and friends, and hiking in the mountains with her Pomeranian-Husky, Hudson.
