Preparing your bike for El Tour de Tucson

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The 34th annual El Tour de Tucson is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 19.

Here are some last-minute tips on preparing your bike for the big race.

1. Check your tires for cuts or flat spots or anything that could cause a flat.

2. Make sure all the parts are connected, tight and in working shape.

3. Check the gears to make sure they're shifting correctly.

4. Clean and lubricate your chain, then wipe off the excess lubricant.
