Starting December 8,  the visitor center at Fort Bowie National Historic Site will be open daily from 8 am to 4 pm.

Fort Bowie National Historic Site is open from sunrise to sunset including the ruins areas and hiking trails. Access to the visitor center and fort ruins is via a self-guided, easy to moderate, three-mile, round trip interpretive trail from the parking lot and trailhead on Apache Pass Road.

Schools and other groups seeking a ranger-led program should call the park in advance to make arrangements.  Mobility impaired individuals may call for directions and use of the administrative road.
