Cardinals game against Eagles moved to prime time

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Arizona's game in Philly on Dec. 20 had been moved from an afternoon kickoff into the prime time slot.

This is the second time this season the Cardinals (10-2), who have won six straight, have had one of their games "flexed" by the NFL.

Flexible scheduling, which began in 2006, gives the NFL the ability to move Sunday afternoon games to the night to "ensure quality matchups."

The Cardinals-Eagles game was scheduled to be part of the Fox doubleheader airing on KMSB Fox 11. Now, the game will start at 6:30 p.m. Arizona time and will be broadcast by NBC.

KMSB will broadcast the Titans-Patriots matchup in the morning and the Broncos at Steelers game in the afternoon.

According to azcardinals.com, Arizona is 3-0 in prime time games this season.
