Is this Higgins final NFL audition?

Tucson, AZ (KOLD) - The last time Rashard Higgins faced the Nevada defense he hauled in 194 receiving yards, a career-high, on 10 catches with two touchdowns, CSU won that game last year in Reno 31-24. Bad news for the Wolf Pack, he'll share the same field again this Tuesday.

The glass half full approach for the Wolf Pack is that this will be the final time they will have to face him. All signs point to Higgins declaring for the NFL draft as he's indicated providing a better life for himself and his mother. He’s projected as a third- to fourth-round draft pick by most analysts, with ESPN’s Mel Kiper rating him the 10th-best receiver available, should he chose to make him himself eligible.

“I haven’t made any decisions, but you all stayed tuned for that,” he said after a Dec. 17 practice. The Arizona Bowl postgame could be the stage he selects for his NFL declaration.
