Things will get lively in the desert over the next week or so as Super Late Models take to the 3/8-mile USA Raceway for the first of six rounds of Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout presented by Black Diamond-Club 29 Race Cars on Saturday night.

There will be plenty of loot on the line as well, with a $250,000 bonus posted for the driver that can race to victory lane on six nights. Winning five of six will earn a $100,000 bonus, while four of six wins will be worth $50,000.

The wild racing action all begins on Saturday night, January 9, with Round Two to follow on Sunday night, January 10. A mid-week show on Wednesday, January 13, serves as Round Three with the final three rounds to run consecutively on Friday through Sunday, January 15-17.

A $5,000 winner’s share is up for grabs through the opening five nights of competition with AR Bodies raising the stakes of the January 17 finale to $11,000-to-win.

Along with a star-studded field of Super Late Models, the Barnett Harley-Davidson Modifieds presented by MVT and the Border International and RealTruck.com X-Mods presented by Polar Industries will be in action each night as well.

In addition to the healthy purse money up for grabs each night, a $5,000 points fund has been posted for the Super Late Models by Black Diamond-Club 29 Race cars along with the Keyser’s Quarter-Million Challenge for the driver that potentially becomes a frequent victory lane visitor. A championship points fund is in place for the Modifieds and X-Mods as well.

Among those planning on taking in the Wild West Shootout are Lucas Oil Late Model champion Jonathan Davenport, World of Outlaws Late Model champ Shane Clanton, Don O’Neal, Darrell Lanigan, Billy Moyer, Brandon Sheppard, 2015 Wild West Shootout champion Rodney Sanders, Jimmy Mars, Terry Phillips and many more.
