TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Looking for a furry addition to your family?  The Pima Animal Care Center would like you to meet Alfa, a 2-year-old female pit-bull mix who was brought in by a good Samaritan. Alfa was found near Grant and Silverbell about a week ago.

PACC describes Alfa as sweet and a little shy.  She is gentle and leash trained and will walk right beside you and stop when you stop, without pulling.

As for dealing with other dogs, Alfa appears indifferent and doesn’t really pay a lot of attention to them.  If you're considering adopting Alfa, PACC recommends you do a meet and greet so she can spend time with other animals and children in the household.

Alfa has an adoption fee of $14 plus a $16 license fee and since she is spayed and already chipped and vaccinated she can go home today!

Stop by PACC at 4000 N. Silverbell Road to see if this great pup would be a match for your family.

Alfa is looking good today thanks to Wags My Tail. To see other successful adoptions, thanks to an appearance on Tuesday's Tail click here.  For more photos of today's Tail check out the Ted Hewitt Photography Facebook page.
