TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - What has been exciting for one mall has been causing concern for another.
Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH announced this week the opening of its relocated store from the Foothills Mall to the new Tucson Premium Outlets mall in Marana.
The grand opening will take place on Thursday, Feb. 11 at 10 a.m.
Meanwhile, store managers at Foothills Mall said foot traffic has been slowing down.
Many stores including Old Navy, Nike, Hanes and several other big names have not renewed their leases, and have relocated to the new outlet mall.

Those who have left Foothills Mall said they are relieved they got out before business got tough.
"Just the foot traffic wasn't there anymore," said Sean Scott, owner of Cheesy Rider, which has since been closed down. "It was good for the first couple months, then word of the new mall coming soon ... people stopped going."
James Garnham, chief financial officer of Dosa Express, said they just opened in the food court at Foothills Mall a few months ago.
They are still hanging on, but hoping for some exciting things in the future.
"It was great for December, but it's a slow mall," Garnham said. "They're going through a period of transition so there's going to be a bit of a struggle for a while."
Luckily for Garnham, he has other businesses, so he said he can "float" for a while.
Other tenants said they've tried to speak with Foothills Mall management about future plans, but managers are staying tight-lipped, saying they cannot disclose any information.
Tucson News Now reached out to Foothills management, but had not heard back as Wednesday night.
