UA's Miller says he has no interest in Pitt job

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Arizona men's basketball coach Sean Miller helped a lot of Wildcats fans breathe a little easier on Tuesday, March 22.

Miller was considered a candidate for the opening at Pittsburgh and several sources reported the school offered him the job.

Miller dispelled those rumors with the following tweet.

Miller wrote, in part:

"I have a tremendous amount of respect and admiration for the University and city of Pittsburgh ... However, I have one of the great jobs in college basketball at Arizona.

"I have no interest in becoming the head coach at Pitt."

Miller played for Pitt and graduated from the school in 1992.
