TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Key Lime Pie - Bisbee Breakfast Club
Chef Terry Kyte from the Bisbee Breakfast Club was in studio to show his recipe for Key Lime pie.
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 egg yolks (save whites to whip)
- Zest of 2 limes
- 1/2 cup lime juice
Combine above ingredients in a large bowl.
Whip egg whites at high speed until stiff peaks form.
Fold whipped egg whites into pie mixture and transfer mixture to uncooked graham cracker pie shell.
Bake in a water bath at 400 degrees for 11 minutes.
Allow pie to cool at room temperature for 1 hour.
Top pie/decorate with whip cream.
