This past weekend was just a formality.
Arizona State wrapped up the 2016 Territorial Cup Series two weeks ago when their Men’s Golf team bested UA at the Pac-12 Championships.
The Sun Devils took two of the final three points to finish the 2015-16 athletic year with a 12.5-to-7.5 victory over the Wildcats.
ASU’s baseball and men’s track teams bested Arizona this past weekend while the Wildcats women’s track team fended off the Sun Devils at the Pac-12 Championships thanks to strong performances by Lisanne Hagens, Nneya Hailey and Sage Watson.
Hagens became the 5th Wildcat to win the Pac-12 title in the high jump.
