Rains puts a pause on NCAA Softball tournament

After a 2 hour and 49 minute rain delay, game 1 of the Knoxville Regional between Arizona and Ohio State was postponed until Saturday morning at 7 a.m. MST.

The game, which was originally postponed 10 minutes at the start due to rain, will be in the bottom of the third inning with a 0-0 score upon resumption. Alexis Dotson will be at the plate for Arizona to begin the half inning.

Pitchers Danielle O'Toole (Arizona) and Shelby Hursh (Ohio State) exchanged zeros on the scoreboard in the limited action on Friday, each allowing one hit. Nancy Bowling was the lone base runner for Arizona through two offensive innings.
