TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

This year Royal Automotive will host the 7th annual "Dog Days of Summer" adoption event.  This annual event helps both the Humane Society of Southern Arizona and Pima Animal Care Center get their animals adopted.

"Each year we find homes for 20-40 dogs," said Todd Helmick, Marketing Director for Royal Automotive, in a recent release. "Be sure to come early because adoptions usually go quick! We encourage our customers and guests to bring items to donate to the shelters."

The event will be August 13 from 9 a.m. to noon at the MINI of Tucson location at 4635 E. 22nd Street, both PACC and HSSA will be bringing in dogs to be adopted and Royal Automotive Group will be sponsoring all adoption fees.

Royal Automotive will also be holding a donation drive to benefit HSSA and PACC. At every Royal Automotive and Lexus of Tucson location there will be a drop-off box where new or gently used dog toys, blankets or unwrapped treats can be donated.
