TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

It's Tuesday, and we've got another tail in our newsroom.

Meet Wookie, an 8-year-old Terrier mix.

Wookie (A512643) was first brought to Pima Animal Care Center over a year ago, as a stray. He was soon adopted, but then he was surrendered last week when his owner became sick and had to enter the hospital.

He’s a fun guy and loves to go on long walks. Wookie is a member of PACC's Silver Whiskers Club, which means he has no adoption fee.

Find him at the Pima Animal Care Center, located at 4000 North Silverbell Road.

We are all about the animals here at Tucson News Now.  Please check out the many successful adoptions from Tuesday's Tail here.

Wags My Tail at Ina and Shannon is offering a free bath and brush to the lucky family that adopts Wookie.
