Tucson police searching for suspect in armed robbery

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Tucson Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in armed robbery that took place on Sunday, Aug. 21. 

According to TPD the suspect entered the Circle K at 2750 North Tucson Boulevard, he approached the clerk and asked for several packs of cigarettes. While the clerk rang up the purchase, the suspect stated he had a gun and demanded money from the register.

He left the store with an undisclosed amount of money and the cigarettes, according to TPD.  

The suspect is described as a Hispanic or black man, 25 to 35 years old, 5'5" to 5'7" tall, weighing between 150 to 170 pounds.  

Anyone with information on this suspect is urged to call 88-CRIME, you can remain anonymous.
