AVRA VALLEY (Tucson News Now) -

Firefighters with the Avra Valley Fire District are trying to figure out what caused a fire that destroyed an abandoned mobile home early Wednesday morning.

Crews responded to reports of a fire in the 12600 block of Sandy Street around 7 a.m., according to a media release.

When they arrived, the mobile home was fully engulfed in flames.

The fire was also endangering another abandoned mobile home 15 ft. away.

Firefighters were able to put the fire out quickly.

Since the mobile home was abandoned, no one was injured or displaced.

However, damages are estimated at $40,000.
