PIMA COUNTY, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Walgreens at North Thornydale and West Overton roads was robbed Friday afternoon, and Pima County Sheriff's detectives think they know who the culprit is.

For the last several weeks, one suspect has robbed a handful of businesses on the northwest side, including a Subway sandwich shop, another Walgreens, a Diamond Shamrock corner store and a Holiday Inn Express.

The robbery that took place just before 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2 at 9220 N. Thornydale Rd. followed a similar pattern to all the others: A man went into the store, implied a weapon and demanded money from the cash register. Nobody was hurt.

The suspect is described as an African-American man, and on Friday he was wearing a New York Yankees baseball cap – backwards – dark sunglasses, a blue shirt and blue shorts.

Police are asking for anyone with information on the man's identity or where he might be to call 911 or the 88-CRIME anonymous tip line.

If you know anyone who is missing a Siamese (maybe) in North Rancho please tell them to PM me."  It's shocking and hilarious and shareable, b...
