Mobile Meals of Tucson in need of volunteer drivers

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Mobile Meals of Tucson is putting out an urgent call for volunteer drivers for Tucson, Green Valley and Sahuarita.  Volunteer drivers ensure that home bound elderly and disabled adults receive the food they need to be healthy and independent. 

There are several New Volunteer Orientations scheduled in the coming months at 4803 E. 5th Street in the Nextrio Conference Room (downstairs from the Mobile Meals of Tucson office). Dates and times to follow: 

  • Thursday, Sept. 22 - 2:30 to 4 pm
  • Thursday, Oct. 6 - 2:30 to 4 pm
  • Thursday, Oct. 20 - 2:30 to 4 pm

RSVPs are requested as space is limited. Contact Mobile Meals at (520) 622-1600 or email them directly volunteers@mobilemealsoftucson.org.
