The Arizona Wildcats rallied from a 21-3 halftime deficit to beat the visiting Grambling State Tigers Saturday night 31-21 at Arizona Stadium.
UA sophomore Brandon Dawkins started at quarterback for an injured Anu Solomon. He threw for 223 yards and a touchdown while running for 97 yards and two more scores.
Nick Wilson carried the ball 24 times for 116 yards and a touchdown. His 12th career 100-yard rushing game and second this season.
The UA defense after getting no turnovers in the season-opening loss to BYU, forced six turnovers against the Tigers.
Arizona also had five sacks, two by junior Parker Zellers.
The Wildcats (1-1) host Hawaii next Saturday in their final non-conference game before the start of Pac-12 play.
