Sahuarita police searching for two suspects in attempted home burglary

SAHUARITA, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Sahuarita police are seeking help from the public to find two suspects in connection to an attempted home burglary.

On Thursday at approximately 12:49 p.m., officers with the Sahuarita Police Department responded to a report of an attempted home burglary, according to a news release. 

The victim told police that while she was home alone, two Hispanic men knocked on her door and rang the doorbell. 

She did not answer the door, and after several minutes of knocking, they kicked the door in and broke the door frame. 

The woman announced her presence, and scared the men off. 

The men fled in a dark-colored Infinity M35 with the Arizona Cardinals plate number B1D6. 

The vehicle may also have damage to the front driver side bumper. 

The men are described as Hispanic, in their early 20s and between 5'06" and 5'08" tall. 

One of them had a goatee and was wearing sunglasses.
