Larry H. Miller Charities donates to Safe Kids Pima County

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Safe Kids Pima County received a $2,500 check from Larry H. Miller Charities, as part of the 'Keys to Car Seat Safety' campaign and the National Child Passenger Safety Month.  

According to a recent release, the check was presented on Saturday, Sept. 17. The money will be used to help purchase new car seats for those in need. 

On hand to present and accept the check were Ed Motzkin, Larry H. Miller Dodge Ram Tucson General Manager; Ed Ross Assistant Part's Manager for Larry H. Miller Dodge Ram Tucson; Brianna Petty, the Tucson Charities Chair for Larry H. Miller; Jack Andrews, Larry H. Miller Dodge Ram Tucson's General Sales Manager; Tony Salvemini, Service Director for Larry H. Miller Dodge Ram Tucson; Jessica Mitchell from Safe Kids Pima County and Sergeant Erin Gibson with the Pima County Sheriff's Department.

    According to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's office District of Arizona, 48-year-old Michael Alvarez Martinez had previously pleaded guilty to one count of abusive sexual contact of a minor.
