Larry H. Miller Charities donates to Safe Kids Pima County

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Safe Kids Pima County received a $2,500 check from Larry H. Miller Charities, as part of the 'Keys to Car Seat Safety' campaign and the National Child Passenger Safety Month.  

According to a recent release, the check was presented on Saturday, Sept. 17. The money will be used to help purchase new car seats for those in need. 

On hand to present and accept the check were Ed Motzkin, Larry H. Miller Dodge Ram Tucson General Manager; Ed Ross Assistant Part's Manager for Larry H. Miller Dodge Ram Tucson; Brianna Petty, the Tucson Charities Chair for Larry H. Miller; Jack Andrews, Larry H. Miller Dodge Ram Tucson's General Sales Manager; Tony Salvemini, Service Director for Larry H. Miller Dodge Ram Tucson; Jessica Mitchell from Safe Kids Pima County and Sergeant Erin Gibson with the Pima County Sheriff's Department.

    Reporter Lydia Camarillo welcomed a furry friend up for adoption to the studio this afternoon. Kadince is a 10-year-old chihuahua from the Humane Society of Southern Arizona, looking for a forever home. This sweet and mellow girl requires an attentive family though, as she has a grade 4 heart murmur. HSSA staff say that she can still live a normal life. Kadince's adoption fee is only $50 and includes 30 days worth of medication.  The Humane Society also has several event...
