TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

When the Arizona Wildcats released their injury report on Thursday, to many people's surprise quarterback Anu Solomon was listed as out for this Saturday's game at UCLA.

Solomon had been listed as questionable for UA's last three games, all of which he did not dress.

Saturday represents the Wildcats first road game of the season and travel limits may have led to UA downgrading the junior signal caller. Although the fact that Solomon wasn't healthy enough to be a game time decision has to make you wonder the seriousness of his knee injury and how soon he will be back and able to play this season, if at all.

Brandon Dawkins will start at quarterback for a fourth straight game.

Running back Nick Wilson is listed as questionable for a second straight week. No player listed as questionable this season on the injury report has appeared in that week's game.

The Wildcats have been preparing wide receivers Tyrell Johnson and Samajie Grant to help with some of the workload at running back.

UA may also need a boost at wide receiver from junior Cam Denson, who should see a further increased role with the injury to Shawn Poindexter. Poindexter exited last week's Washington game with a foot injury after three early receptions.

He is also listed as out for UCLA as are linebacker DeAndre Miller (ankle) and defensive lineman Parker Zellers.

Arizona is expected to get back safety Tellas Jones for the game in Pasadena. He has missed the last two and half games with an ankle injury.
