Man injured in carjacking; authorities seek two suspects

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A man was injured when he was carjacked on Tucson's southwest side on Thursday, Sept. 29.

According to the Pima County Sheriff's Department, the man suffered a head injury in the assault in the 8900 block of West Snyder Hill Road, near South San Joaquin Road and West Ajo Highway.

He was taken to a hospital for treatment of his injury. His condition was not immediately available.

Deputies are looking for two Hispanic men. Their faces were hidden behind ski masks, but at least one was armed with a firearm.

They fled in the stolen red 2007 Chevy pickup with a 6-inch lift and black rims.

No one was shot in this assault.
