COCHISE COUNTY, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A Tucson woman died Friday morning after apparently over-correcting and causing her vehicle to roll on a road between Tombstone and Sierra Vista, according to the Cochise County Sheriff's Office.

The incident happened around 10:30 Friday morning. That's when authorities say Janna Todd, 33, was driving her white Chevy Blazer northbound on Charleston Road, when she veered off the roadway to the left, evidently overcorrected and ended up veering off to the right, rolling over and coming to a rest on a barbed wire fence.

When deputies arrived, they found Todd outside the vehicle being kept calm with several bystanders, including two out-of-state nurses, according to a CCSO media release.

She became unresponsive after the Tombstone Fire Department arrived on scene, and she was taken to Canyon Vista Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The crash is still under investigation by the CCSO.
