TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

According to a PCSD release, the incident happened at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, when deputies from the San Xavier District responded to a suspicious activity call in the 2200 block of West Dakota Street, south of Irvington Road and west of Mission Road.

When deputies learned a 12-year-old boy had been sitting on his porch waiting for his parents to come home when a man stopped in front of the boy's house and asked is anyone else was home. According to the release, the boy answered the man's questions at first, but then became suspicious when the suspect said the boy's mother sent him and began to exit his car. At that point the 12-year-old ran from the home and sought help.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 40s, bald with a goatee. He had a colorful full-sleeve tattoo on his right arm, was last seen wearing a black Washington Nationals baseball hat, light blue polo, jeans with a hole near the right knee and Nike running shoes.

The vehicle is described as a dark green older model four door sedan with peeling paint on the roof, a missing hubcap on the rear driver's side wheel and tint that is worn and bubbling. The suspect was last seen heading west on Dakota Street.
