Silver alert issued for missing Mesa man

MESA, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A silver alert has been issued for missing man out of Mesa.

Murrell Bufford, 77, was last seen on Tuesday, Oct. 11 around 1 p.m. when he left the DES office in Mesa, according to an alert sent out by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

He was driving a red 2003 Chevy Trailblazer with the AZ license plate number AAW4883. 

He has not been seen or heard from since, and his family is concerned about his welfare. 

Bufford has had a stroke, triple by-pass and has signs of Dementia. 

He is also a Type 2 Diabetic and did not have any insulin with him. 

He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and black shoes. 

Bufford is 6'1" and weighs approximately 230 pounds.

Bufford has grey hair, brown eyes and also wears glasses.
