According to PCSD, a man was found dead at a home in the 4300 block of West Valencia Road around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16. Thirty minutes later, another man was found shot at a home in the 5000 block of West Tillery Street. The second victim was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition.

Linda Gloria lives on West Tillery Street. She said she heard her dogs barking on Sunday night and came outside to see deputies and an ambulance.

"Very concerning. Considering the amount of officers that showed up, ambulance and it being so close to our house. That concerns us because we have kids, there's quite a few kids in this neighborhood," Gloria said.

Gloria, a long time resident in the area, said she keeps her eyes open for any suspicious activity.

"You just have to keep your eyes open. I don't like to consider myself as a nosy neighbor, just aware. If something doesn't seem right, or never noticed it before, cars, people. I just stay very diligent," Gloria said.

According to Google Maps, the homes are about one mile apart. PCSD officials said the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.

This is the third fatal shooting incident in the Tucson area over the weekend.

Three men were shot and one died in an incident in the 5600 block of East 26th Street early Sunday morning.  The Tucson Police Department said the three men got into an altercation with each other before the shots were fired.

Two people were fatally shot Saturday night at a home in the 5800 block of South Swinging A, near South Camino Verde and West Drexel Road. Raymond Manny Valencia, 49, had been arrested in connection with the double homicide.
