Poll: Clinton leads Trump in Arizona

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A new poll in Arizona shows Hillary Clinton has about a five-point lead over her GOP rival, Donald Trump.

The poll was conducted by Arizona State University’s Morrison Institute for Public Policy, Cronkite News and the Arizona Republic.

The poll found Clinton has 39 percent support among likely voters over Trump’s 33.9 percent support.

Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson has 5.9 percent support and Green Party candidate Jill Stein has 0.5 percent support.

A significant number of voters reported they are still undecided.

The poll showed 20.7 percent of voters are unsure of who to vote for.

As for the U.S. senate seat in Arizona, the poll showed incumbent candidate Republican Senator John McCain has about an 11-point lead over Democratic candidate District 1 U.S. Representative Ann Kirkpatrick, with McCain’s 51.5 to Kirkpatrick’s 40 percent.
