100 Club, KOLD News 13 raise thousands for injured officers

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

After two Tucson officers injured in the line of duty Thursday morning, Dec. 1, KOLD News 13 wanted to find a way to help them and their families.

Thanks to our viewers we were able to raise $13,409 for the 100 Club of Arizona, during the Thursday phone drive. 

The 100 Club of Arizona provides immediate financial assistance to families of officers and firefighters who are injured or killed in the line of duty.

All the money raised Thursday will go to the club's general fund, which will be distributed to families in need.
