Hi there and thanks for stopping by my page! I am thrilled to be a part of the First Alert Weather Team.
I’m a native of south Florida and a graduate of Florida State University and Mississippi State University where I studied both Meteorology and Geography.
My fascination with weather began at a very early age. It was after Category 5 Hurricane Andrew made landfall, just south of my hometown, that I acquired my interest in meteorology.
After graduating, I became an intern and weather producer at the local CBS affiliate during the most active Atlantic hurricane season on record.
I traded the land of hurricanes for forecasting in the southern tip of tornado alley when I joined the CBS affiliate KTAB in Abilene, TX, as the weekday morning and noon meteorologist. I then returned to my home state to work for NBC-2/WBBH in Fort Myers, FL.
Little Rock, AR, was home for the past 2 years where I worked at the NBC affiliate KARK, where I was the weekend evening meteorologist and weekday morning live feature reporter. It was in the Natural State where I was able forecast all types of weather, from snow storms to tornadoes.
When I’m not forecasting the weather, I enjoy cooking Italian cuisine, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on my beloved Seminoles.
