TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Tucson Parks and Recreation is looking for contestants for the 33rd annual Senior Olympic Festival, which takes place Jan. 7 through Feb. 4, 2017.
The festival is a celebration to promote fitness, health, and an active lifestyle among those 50 years and older. Events include:
- basketball shoot
- badminton and much more.

Checks should be payable to "Senior Olympic Festival."
Registration deadline is December 31, 2016 (must be postmarked by). Note: Any registration received on or after January 1, 2017 will be subject to a $3 per event late fee. No registrations will be accepted after January 15, 2017 (or postmarked by).
All participants are to participate in the age category of their 2017 birthday. Players must present valid picture I.D. before start of competition.
