TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A Tucson artist is working to beautify a downtown building and is getting his message out large and loud.

In big, bold letters on the south-facing wall of Epic Rides near 6th Street and Stone Avenue, artist Joe Pagac wrote, "HELPS US PAINT A BEAUTIFUL MURAL ON THIS ENTIRE WALL! TO DONATE, SEARCH: 'BIKE MURAL' ON KICKSTARTER.COM --THANKS!"

According to the Kickstarter page <<https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1092548129/huge-cycling-bike-mural-for-tucson-arizona/description>> Pagac said he will be painting a 130 foot wide by 30 foot tall mural on the bike shop's wall.

"My mission is to bring the Tucson community together to beautify the city while promoting an active, outdoor lifestyle and cycling," Pagac explained on the page. He said the mural will depict Sonoran cycling.

The mural is going to be painted on a wall that will face the new Aviation highway and Downtown Tucson.

Pagac said he has been I have been a full-time muralist for the past 13 years.
