Man rescued from hiking trail on Picacho Peak

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A 74-year-old man is recovering this morning, after being rescued from Picacho Peak.

According to Pinal County Sheriff’s Department, a search and rescue team were called about after a hiker found the man lying on the ground.

The man said he was having chest pains.

DPS air Units helped airlift the man and he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
