UPDATE: SR 90 reopens after fatal crash in Sierra Vista

SIERRA VISTA, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

State Route 90 has reopened between Buffalo Solider Trail and Coronado in Sierra Vista, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Three people were killed in a head-on collision in Sierra Vista on Tuesday, March 7, police said.

ADOT closed State Route 90 between North Buffalo Soldier Trail and Coronado Drive for the investigation. 

No further details are known at this time.  

A tweet from the city of Sierra Vista said that Sierra Vista police reported three deaths in the crash.

Drivers should avoid the area and use an alternate route if possible.
