TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tucson's Hermitage Cat Shelter is participating in Petplan’s 4th annual Tournament of Tails, and the public has a chance to help them win the grand prize.

32 different shelters across the U.S. are participating, vying for nearly $11,000 in donations.

One of Friday's brackets includes a cat from Hermitage - Vander. Don't forget, each match-up lasts one day and is decided by online fan voting at www.gopetplan.com/tournament-of-tails. (Vote now!)

This competition coincides with the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, TOT features adoptable pets representing each shelter and going head-to-head with another shelter in this bracket style format (similar to March Madness brackets).

New match-ups for 2017 have been posted.
