TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tucson police are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating two suspects in a carjacking.

According to Sgt. Pete Dugan, the suspects allegedly assaulted a cab driver and stole his taxi on Sept. 12 last year at a gas station at 4659 E. 22nd Street.

Dugan said the taxi driver refused to take them. He was outside the car when the alleged assault happened.

The taxi was found a few days later on the northwest side of Tucson. Detectives are withholding the exact location of where the cab was found because the investigation is ongoing.

Police are hoping someone recognizes these suspects, especially the man, who has recognizable tattoos on his face.

If you recognize the people in these photos, call 88-CRIME.
