UPDATE: Lee Street reopens after deadly crash

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tucson police have reopened an east-side street after investigating a fatal crash.

According to Sgt. Kim Bay of the Tucson Police Department, a man suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash at East Lee Street and North Craycroft Road on Thursday morning, March 9. The man, who was riding a scooter, later died from his injuries at the hospital.

Lee Street was closed between Craycroft and North Jefferson Avenue.

    Pima County is reaching out to the Milwaukee Brewers baseball organization offering it a place to hold its major league spring training games. The Brewers are looking for a place to play following a contract issue with Glendale, Arizona and a stadium proposal which failed in Gilbert.
