TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Pima County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect in an attempted robbery of a Tucson grocery store.

According to a PCSD news release, the suspect is described as a black woman. She was wearing a white head scarf, a blue top and a floor-length white/black checkered dress. Her face was covered with a surgical mask.

The suspect allegedly demanded money from an employee at the Safeway at 4752 E. Sunrise Drive just before 2 p.m. on Feb. 11. The suspect allegedly said she would "blow her away" if the employee did not give her money from the register at the customer service counter.

The suspect walked away from the counter after becoming frustrated and ran out of the area.
