MT. LEMMON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The Santa Catalina Ranger District of the Coronado National Forest has reopened several gates to roads on Mt. Lemmon, after they were closed due to winter weather.
The roads that are back open are:
- Incinerator Ridge Road
- Oracle Control Road
Several roads are still closed due to lingering ice and snow in some areas. Those roads are:
- Bear Wallow Road
- Bigelow Road
- Marshall Gulch Picnic Area
- Organization Ridge Road
- Mt. Lemmon Recreation Site (above ski area)
The District Recreation Team will monitor the closed areas weekly, and will open the remaining gates as conditions improve.
