PIMA COUNTY, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Fire damaged a mobile home early Saturday morning. Nobody was inside at the time of the incident.

Around 4:30 a.m. Northwest Fire District got a 911 call from a neighbor, who said smoke was coming from the neighboring property on the 5100 block of North Kain Avenue. Firefighters said the first unit on scene found the smoke, and began the attack of the flames.

They found nobody inside, and were able to quickly knock down the fire burning in a room near the back of the mobile home by around 4:45 a.m.

Northwest Fire District officials said the homeowners were away for the night and they were able to make contact with them, to let them know about the damage at their home. Firefighters say there was enough smoke and fire damage that the owners will likely be displaced for an extended period of time.

Firefighters have not yet released the cause of the fire, and could not say the immediate cost of all the damage. There were no injuries.
