Arizona Basketball wins 6th Pac-12 Tournament title

TUCSON, AZ -

Allonzo Trier scored 23 points as the 9th ranked Arizona Wildcats avenged a 27-point February loss to 7th ranked Oregon, beating the Ducks Saturday night 83-80 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas to win the program’s sixth conference tournament championship.

Kadeem Allen had 13 points and seven rebounds for the Wildcats (27-4) who split the regular-season Pac-12 championship with Oregon.

Dillon Brooks scored 25 points for the Ducks (26-5) who made just five three-point shots. Oregon drained 16 threes in their win over UA at the Matthew Knight Arena on February 4.

Arizona will now await their placement in the NCAA Tournament. The Selection Show is on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Tucson time and can be seen on KOLD News 13.
