Tucson man convicted of continuous sexual abuse of minor

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A jury in Pima County Superior Court convicted a Tucson man of multiple dangerous offenses against children on Friday, March 10.

According to a news release from the Pima County Attorney's Office, Michael Kellywood was convicted of molestation of a child, sexual abuse, continuous sexual abuse, and three counts of sexual conduct with a minor under 15.

Kellywood repeatedly molested and sexually abused his victim from 2012 through July 2015.

Kellywood is scheduled to be sentenced on May 15 in Superior Court Judge Richard Fields' courtroom.
