UPDATE: All clear given after evacuation at Mountain View High School

MARANA, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

An odd smell and smoke led to a brief evacuation of Mountain View High School on Tucson's northwest side on Tuesday morning, March 14.

According to Tamara Crawley of Marana Unified School District, Northwest Fire District crews responded and determined there was no threat to safety.

All students are safe and accounted for, and have returned to classes. The school day will continue on a normal schedule.

Fire crews determined that the light haze of smoke was related to a light ballast in the Little Theatre on the campus at 3901 W. Linda Vista Boulevard.
