Pima County authorities looking for robbery suspects

PIMA COUNTY, AZ ( Tucson News Now) -

Pima County authorities are looking for two men who robbed a convenience story in the Foothills area last week.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department said the incident happened at the Circle K at 4990 N. Oracle Road at 2:20 a.m. on Tuesday, March 7.

The first suspect jumped over the counter and stole cigarettes while the second chased the store clerk with a spray bottle full of cleaner.

The suspects left the store and got into a 1990s gold Ford Mustang convertible.

The first suspect has been described as a Hispanic male, 20 to 30 years old with dark curly hair. He is 5-foot-6 to 5-8 with a thin build. He was wearing a black and white striped button-down shirt and light colored pants.

The second suspect has been described as a Hispanic male, 20 to 30 years old with long dark curly hair. He is 5-foot-6 to 5-8 with a heavy build. He was wearing a a red and white baseball-style button down shirt and dark colored pants.

    According to a STPD release, officers pulled over a Dodge truck with Sonora Mexico license plates for a traffic violation.  The driver was issued a citation for the violations and released.
