TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The University of Arizona basketball team's success in the NCAA tournament means a boost in business for some stores.

Campus Athletic, a store along University Boulevard, is one of many stores selling "Sweet 16" shirts.

Nicole Bundy, manager of Campus Athletic said they have hired more people to accommodate the number of people coming through their store.

"We have four hour shifts and we have one person for each shift. But when things get busier my boss says we'll have at least three people for each shift,"
Bundy said. And if the U of A makes it all the way, it will mean all hands on deck.

Even the owner and his wife will come down from Phoenix to help.

Bundy said the sales during this basketball season have been significantly higher than what they saw during football season.

"Usually on a normal day $200 - $300 so for each shift and spring break we would have like $2,000. So it's definitely a bigger help than football season," Bundy said.

She also said the next round of shirts, if the team makes it to Elite Eight and Final Four, will start arriving from Phoenix immediately after the Wildcats
win each game.
