#6 Arizona Baseball suffers 2nd straight walk-off loss

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Oregon State's K.J Harrison singled with two outs in the ninth inning to plate the winning run and give the No.2 ranked Beavers a 4-3 walk-off win over No. 6 Arizona at Goss Stadium, Friday night.

Arizona (16-5, 2-2) lost for a second straight game in walk-off fashion.

Tyler Megill (0-2) suffered the defeat for the Wildcats. JC Cloney pitched seven-plus strong innings but took a no decision.

UA couldn't hold on to a 3-1 lead in the 8th as reliever Cameron Ming struggled for a second straight outing, walking two of the three batters he faced.

Jared Oliva homered for the Wildcats.

The win for Oregon State (18-1, 4-0) matched the programs best start over 19 games.

Game two of the series is set for 4 p.m., Saturday.
